A Passion Project

Speed of Sound will be the first-ever full world tour from Crush40, bringing their music to fans around the world in a way that’s never been done before. For the first time, the band will perform across multiple countries, playing the songs that helped define the sound of the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

Fans can expect a night packed with the most loved Crush40 tracks, performed live as part of a show designed specifically for the Sonic community.

This tour is also a passion project, led by Johnny Gioeli and supported by a team of people who grew up with this music and understand what it means to fans. From the beginning, the goal has been to create something that truly celebrates the connection between the band, the games, and the audience that has supported them for so many years.

A major part of the Speed of Sound experience will be its visual storytelling. The concert has been designed so that the visuals are not just a backdrop, but a core part of the show itself. Original animations, custom visuals, and a unique story will play alongside the music, creating a fully immersive experience that evolves throughout the performance.

Every element has been built to work together: the music, the visuals, and the story, turning the concert into something closer to a live Sonic experience rather than a traditional gig.

Speed of Sound is also intended to be the final Crush40 tour, making it a chance for fans to come together one last time and celebrate the music, the memories, and the legacy of the band.
